One of the main themes of the book is survival.

Another major theme is interdependence versus independence. As one reviewer noted: "In the second book in the Hunger Games , Katniss and Peeta are definitely interdependent Both are helping each other to survive They want the other survives over themselves." The reader goes on to discuss how this actually increases the chances that each character dies.

Government control is another important throughout the book and the series theme . After dominating the first rebellion, the Capitol sets the rules in order to restrict and control the lives of citizens. Examples include, "The 75th Hunger Games" has new rules that make Katniss and Peeta to be in danger once again. Plus the "keep the peace" is placed in the districts to quell any hope that citizens have started after the last Hunger Games. Other topics in the book include morality, obedience, sacrifice, redemption, love and the law.

In conclusion, it's time for revolutionaries Hunger Games, earned the other hand, being able to join a mass product oriented for irrelevant teenager, yet the weight and packaging needed to convince the most sybaritic cinephile . With a somewhat slow start and a late-scenes action, not those found until almost the last third of the film, cajoled many subtly disguised by mixing love and overcoming the protagonist trio living, which for the moment is not exceeded in relevance, or number of scenes, but not cloying with some shyness or so if you want to unromantic. Jennifer Lawrence serves great and iconic image, attractive and inviting to the public, plus the final turn leave us wanting to know a resolution sadly for us, with a clear monetary background will be split into two films, so 2015 will not know outcome.
